I will send a Teamer reminder to rest of the squad that haven't replied yet.

We need to meet at Vardre at 5pm, if anyone has a problem getting there we can see about sorting out lifts.  We also have four games so if you want to play, but are struggling to get their for the first games you could still come along and play in the later ones.  We can have a squad of 12, so if we get more interested we can rotate the squad for next week.  Anyway, the groups for Thursday are:

No 7s tonight

We can't raise a squad for tonights event as it's a little too late notice.  We'll see who wants to play in the next few weeks and try to take part in at least one.

District sevens

We have the chance of playing in a district sevens tournament for the next 4 Thursday evenings.  If the players want to we can enter a squad.  The first one is tomorrow in Morriston (meet at Morriston RFC 5pm), so we will send out a Teamer to check interest.

"The district will be holding a series of 7,s rugby on the  following dates; 24/4, 2/5, 9/5, 16/5, to which all clubs are invited,  at local  venues( to be confirmed). There will be a full set of games lasting 5 mins each way  and involve pool games first to be followed by the main cup, bowl and plate, on each occasion."  Squads of 10, plus 2 reserves for each event so everyone can have a go if they want.

The details for the event on Thursday are as follows (I have highlighted our group in red.  The inference is the group winners go into the Cup, second into the Bowl, third into the plate, so we would have a minimum of 3 games):

Menu for Saturday April 20th 18:30

The meal is at the Bell in Yarpole for those joining us. Arrival 18.30 (activities finish around 5pm so time to wash off paint etc!)
Set in the heart of rural North Herefordshire, in the picturesque and quintessentially English village
of Yarpole, you will find The Bell Inn. The Bell Inn was first mentioned in the Domesday Book with the current black and white chocolate box pub dating back to the 16th century. The pub has retained many of its original features which include a cider press and mill, open fires and lovely oak beams which all help to create a lovely warm & friendly atmosphere.
