The match is ON

A few last travel tips.  The venue in Pontarddulais is Coed Bach Parc (NOT THE SCHOOL).  The pos code the Council list is SA4 8LG, the parc is down an access road (see the map below).  We have a few missing today because of a range of reasons, the sun is out so lets all make an effort turn out.

Pontarddulais v Mumbles Pirates 17 March

The match this week-end is away at Pontarddulais.  Kick-off will be 11.00am so meet at the pitch at Coed Bach Parc at 10.15.  They have asked how many are likely to go back to their club for food afterwards, so  please can you let us know.

As it is only one night the campsite close to the activities and tournament have requested individual bookings per pitch. Mumbles Pirates vs Tonmawr, 10 March

The game on Sunday is a home match on the Junior pitch at Underhill against Tonmawr.  Kick-off will be 11.00 am and meet and 10.15 am to give us time to organise the team.  Can you let us know your availability either on teamer, text or phone to make sure we can raise a team.  (If you don't get a Teamer let us know and we can try and re-add your number to the squad list).

Training is ON, 6-7pm tonight

Great result at the week-end, 19-19 against the Uplands.  Lets take that positive attitude onto the training pitch tonight.  Meet at the changing room and start at 6pm.

We have opponents (Uplands), a team and even a pitch tomorrow.  Meet at Bishopston School 10.15, kick-off at 11.00am.

Training Tuesday and Swans victory parade

The mighty Swans are parading the trophy from the city centre at 4.30pm on Tuesday through to the Guildhall.  As this might clash with our training at 6pm we will send out a teamer for training to see who is available.  If you know you're not coming to training please text one of the coaching team.

Mumbles Pirates vs Swansea Uplands, Sunday 3 March 2013

The game on Sunday is home against Swansea Uplands with the match being played at Bishopston School.  Kick-off will be 11.00am with a 10.15 meet time to get organised for the match.

Mumbles Pirates v Morriston, Sunday 24 February

We have a match tomorrow vs Morriston.  The match will be at Bishospton, meet at 10.15 for an 11.00 am kick-off.  We have 16 confirmed players so far on the teamer and only 6 definite nos (Sean M, Max, Jake S, Tom T, Tom B and Matt S).  If you can't play please let me know.  See you tomorrow.  We will be all done and dusted well before the Swans game which kicks off at 4pm.

Training Tuesday 6-7

Meet at the changing rooms, training from 6-7.  We've also sent out a Teamer to see who's not going to Wembley on Sunday.  We are down to play Morriston so we will see how many they can field on Sunday.

No game Sunday 17 February

We haven't been able to get more than 12 players for Sunday, so with no district festival we won't have a game on Sunday.

Tour 2013 20-21st April

This years trip will be to Luctonians, Hereford. Paintball and adventure climb Sat 12 til 5pm overnight camp close to Sundays tournament venue. Will need rough numbers this week please

Mumbles Pirates vs TBC, Sunday 17 Feb

We've sent a teamer out to see who is a available for Sunday.  So far via the teamer and other messages we have 8 players available.  If we can get to 15-16 we can arrange a game (which will of course be subject to the weather).  There was supposed to be a district festival, but that hasn't materialised.  Next weekend the Swans are at Wembley so we may struggle to raise a team, so if we can play Sunday we should probably make every effort.

The visitors this week-end are Vardre.  The match will be at Bishopston School kick-off 11 am.  Meet at 10.15, but check the blog first as we will be checking the pitches with the Council at 9am.
